Robertson Barracks – Aviation Precinct
Construction of new buildings including aircraft hangers
This project involved installation of the following:

- 6 x 12c SMOF link to into existing Optic Fibre network
- 6 x 100pr copper link to into existing copper network
This project was completed on schedule and was handed over with minimal variations.
This project provided challenges to CCS due to the Defence National Standards for both Restricted and Classified networks.
This project is a certified Krone site with a 20/20 warranty
ERA Ranger Uranium Mine
Optic Fibre network upgrade
This project involved installation of the following:
- 15 KMs MMOF total
- 4 KMs SMOF total
- 22 Optic Fibre runs in total
- 44 FOBOTs
This project provided challenges to CCS due to the harsh and hazards environment associated with working in a Mine site.
As a remote site all materials had to be sent well before needed to ensure that they where on site for our arrival.
It also meant that we had to send employees out to the site for months at a time to complete the work.

TIO Headquarters
5 Floor fit out of the existing TIO Building
This project involved installation of the following:
- 1500 cat 6 outlets Approx.
- 11 x 45RU Wall cabinets
- 10 x 12c MMOF links to cabinets

This project provided challenges to CCS due to the Federal Government requirements to reduce its Carbon foot- print.

Darwin Middle School
Construction of the first Middle School under the new DEET schooling model
This project involved installation of the following:
- 450 cat 6 outlets Approx.
- 8 x 18RU Wall cabinets
- 8 x 12c MMOF links to cabinets
- 8 x 50pr copper links to cabinets
- 2 x 45RU cabinets
- 1 x 12c SMOF link to Darwin High School
- 1 x 100pr copper tie cable to Darwin high school
This project was completed approximately 3 months before schedule and was a major factor in the builder (Halikos Group) winning the new Rosebery Middle school.

Taminmin High School
Major upgrade to various school buildings and construction of 1 GLA building
This project involved installation of the following:
- 350 cat 6 outlets Approx.
- 2 x 12RU Wall cabinets
- 2 x 12c MMOF links to cabinets
- 1 x 45RU cabinets
This project provided challenges to CCS by there being spread over various parts of the school and was conducted during school term.
Many of the areas affected had cables running back to existing cabinets that were in use so we had to liaise with the school as to when we could complete these works

Good Shepherd Lutheran School
Construction of 2 new buildings for years 9 and 10
This project involved installation of the following:
- 280 cat 6 outlets Approx.
- 1 x 12RU Wall cabinets
- 2 x 12c MMOF links to cabinets
- 2 x 45RU cabinets
- 1 x 50pr copper tie cable to cabinets
This project provided challenges to CCS by the type of construction of the building; some ceilings were 5m in height and with no ceiling space.
We over came this with the use of elevated work platform and installing conduit in the ceiling space for future use.
This project was handed over on time with minimal variations.

Sheperdson College (Elcho Island)
Construction of new buildings
This project involved installation of the following:
- 180 cat 5E outlets Approx.
- 1 x 12c MMOF links to cabinets
- 1 x 45RU cabinets
- 1 x 30pr copper tie cable to cabinets
This project provided challenges to CCS do to the remote location of the school.
All materials had to be Barged in well before needed to ensure that they where on site for our arrival.
It also meant that we had to fly employees out to the site to complete the work.
